Eh Yo, CaptainJack! Hey everyone, this is CaptainJack (@CaptainJackSSB4) here!

Today, I just want to tell you that I modified and edited my own article on SmashWiki by my self. There were something incorrect so I had an idea to modify by myself, because I want people to know the true history of Melee! I appreciate those who made and developed the article though. Thank you very much for your work :)

So let me tell you what parts I modified respectively.

Order of my tournament in the US

1.
Before editing

"CaptainJack's first tournament in the United States was MLG San Francisco 2004, in which he defeated Isai 6-0 in grand finals to win the tournament. In August, he made an appearance at Tournament Go 6, where he defeated ChuDat in winners' semis before losing to Azen in winners' finals. After defeating ChuDat again in losers' finals, he won the first set of grand finals against Azen, but still lost the second set, placing 2nd at the tournament. He was also able to defeat a famed player Ken in friendlies using a variety of characters, including Bowser, who was considered the second worst character at the time."

The statement in red color was simply incorrect, so I modified and added the fact that I defeated Ken in MLG San Francisco. He was an equal for me at the time, I appreciate him very much. He stayed in my parents' house for about 2 weeks to attend Jack Garden Tournament, but it is another story in another article in the future. :)

On September 11th-12th, he made an appearance at MLG San Francisco 2004, in which he defeated a famed player Ken in winners’ bracket and Isai 6-0 in grand finals to win the tournament. Other things

2.
mainssb4 = Sheik
-> Could

Note: I switched to Cloud to avoid mess-up with Melee's Sheik. However, I decided to main Melee again prior to Smash 4, so I'm not playing it competitively.

3.
primarily known for being a top professional Melee Sheik player during the 2004-2008 era
-> 2002-2008

Note: It was delicate because I've been known for being a top professional Melee player since the release fo the game, but as a Sheik player, maybe from 2002. There are a very few people who know this now, but I mained Luigi at the beginning of tha game, following my main from Smash 64. Known from 2004-2008 is quite an American view, to be honest it is not exact.

4.
He was ranked 2nd in the Kansai Ranking Battles.
-> He was ranked 1st in the Japan United Smash Festa Round-Robin 2, 3 and 2nd in the Kansai Ranking Battles 2.

Note: I added the results from the Japan United Smash Festa Round-Robin 2 and 3, and "2nd season" for the Kansai Ranking Battles.

5.
However, he had been unable to commit to this since he became married on June 28, 2015
-> However, he had been unable to commit to this because of his marriage on June 18th 2015 etc.

Note: Date of marriage was inccorect, and the reason was not only the marriage.

6.

In March 2016 he announced another comeback
-> In February 2016 he announced another comeback

Note: I announced it on February 29th 2016, according to my tweet.

Comment

Not only SmashWiki, but Wiki serises are sometimes doubted its trustworthiness.

Now I can say at least my article on SmashWiki is correct, since the page was reviewed and modified by himself.

Thank you very much again for those who worked to create my article from zero. That was a good workd and I'm glad!
